Movement RE-Set Classes (ALoFT)


Restorative Movement brings functional movement and biomechanics together in a simple yet specific way to get more of you moving more of the time. 

Each small group class contains corrective exercises and natural movement work to create a sustainable movement practice that you can take out of the studio and into real life.

Mastering Movement Basics
Jan 4th, 11th, 18th, Feb 1st, 8th, 15th
We're going back to the basics of restorative movement with each class designed around learning one corrective exercise in detail, pairing it with some complimentary movements, and getting into the nitty gritty of your own alignment. 
Series $120, Drop in-in classes $22

Yoga Fusion and Yin Yoga


Weekly at The Studio @ Climbers Rock, Burlington

Yoga Fusion

A bit of yoga, some strength work, and a whole lot of movement featuring a variety of props. You can count on each class to get your body and brain moving in different ways. 

Sundays 9:30-10:45am

Tuesdays 9:30-10:30am

Candlelight Yin Yoga

Yin yoga class using a variety of props with a backdrop of gentle music and relaxing candlelight.

Tuesday 8:30-9:30pm

Wednesdays 9:15-10:15pm

Movement RE-Set (Climber's Rock)


Restorative Movement brings functional movement and biomechanics together with a combination of restorative exercise fundamentals layered with a little MovNat, and ELDOA.

Group classes create a fun environment to explore how your body moves relative to your environment and try out novel ways to use props to improve whole body health and mobility. 

Each weekly class is unique with corrective exercises and natural movement work to create a sustainable movement practice that you can take out of the studio and into real life.

Fit Feet Workshop


Date: Saturday January 25th

Time: 12:00-2:30pm

Location: Heart of Movement Pilates Studio Oakville

Cost: $55

Join me for an interactive movement workshop to learn all about barefoot health, foot function, and the connections to healthy hips. 

You will explore alignment from the bottom up and learn how foot function may be affecting overall health. While we move, you will learn a series of simple foot exercises as well as tips for better walking and transition to minimal shoes.

Who might consider coming to the Fit Functional Feet workshop? Anyone who:

  • spends the day on their feet or sitting for long periods 
  • wants to improve standing or walking mechanics
  • wears tight, heeled, or protective industrial or athletic footwear 
  • have discomfort, dysfunction, or issues such as: plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammertoes, flat feet
  • are interested in reducing dependance on orthotics
  • has feet :)

Restorative Yoga Workshops/Classes


Small Restorative Yoga classes and workshops are a great way to build some restful personal time into your week. 

Each 75 minute class consists of a unique sequence containing only a few long-held poses while the body rests in comfort supported by bolsters and blankets.

This practice cultivates mindfulness and provides the right environment for recovery from stress. 

Finish your class feeling a little less tension in those areas that just won't let it go.

Move Your DNA Weekend Petra Fisher Movement (with me as her lovely assistant!)
